I started teaching over ten years ago, and I love to watch my students develop the same skills that have transformed my life! I follow in the footsteps of my mentors by teaching through guided exploration, prioritizing the student’s discovery of good technique over conceptual lectures. I want to help each person quickly learn for themselves exactly how their voice is set up for success! While I appreciate all genres of singing, I focus on the classical, musical theater, and jazz traditions I’ve devoted my life to, and most of my students are performers in some way. In order to be more accessible to my students while performing across the continent, I adopted virtual teaching seven years ago, and it’s now an integral part of my teaching base. I can’t wait to meet you!

About Me…

Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, I started music lessons at the age of five and never looked back. I found a lot of success as a pianist - including winning the North Carolina State Championship three times - but once I stepped on stage, I knew I had found my home. I have an MM in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory in Boston and now work professionally as an operatic soprano, actor, and teacher in NYC.
